Hey, I’m Joni! I’m a 21-year-old student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Ancient World Studies and Indigenous Studies. I graduated highschool in 2022, with an ATAR of 97.85, and 40+ scores in Psychology, Biology, Further Maths, Literature and Classical Studies. My subsequent university experience has granted me insight into navigating the transition from secondary to tertiary education, and strengthened my knowledge of essay writing, editing and refining texts, literature comprehension and historical analysis. I have been tutoring throughout my university degree, and my long term career goals centre around education. I credit my personal academic record to a strategic and intentional approach to study, developed during both highschool and university. When tutoring, I aim to prioritise this strategic approach, coupled with patience and kindness–meeting students where they are, and working together to help them achieve their academic goals!
